Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle a variety of floors. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and fills up its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of just moving a pad across the surface. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.
This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically filled or empty. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs around my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is simple to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. Robot Vacuum Mops is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one area to another without changing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge space around obstacles. This can lead to missing spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be operated via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, allowing you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are great at picking up dirt and debris but they're not able to get all dust. That's why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mops, is designed to do just that. It's simple to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's more expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by removing mopping and using a cheaper plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to clean your floors, the Q5 still has the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and determine the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't pick up cat litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that helps it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. It also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and increase suction if required. You can also mark areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
